Pricing
All costs are shown in Australian Dollars. Tour prices are valid for travel to 31 Dec 2017. Accommodation prices as noted on site.
For all accommodation and tours, child price refers to children under 12 years of age unless otherwise noted.
Prices are subject to change without notice. In the event that currency fluctuations affect the price of your booking, we reserve the right to adjust our prices as necessary at any time. However no surcharge in respect to cost or currency fluctuations will be made to the arrangements of your holiday once full payment has been received by Malaysia Holidays.
This does not apply to any tax charges or levies imposed by any government or their agencies.
The air content of some tours is based on airfares applicable for the validity date. As airline prices constantly change it may be necessary to impose an air surcharge at any time up to departure.
Prices quoted include Government levies and taxes that are payable prior to departure but do not include any fees that may be imposed directly by a third party. Some countries impose charges that are collected at airports and borders and these are not included.
Government levies and taxes are subject to change.
 
Land Only Bookings
A service fee of $50 may be applied for all reservations of less than $500 without air content from Australia.
 
Bookings
Reservations can be made through a licenced travel agent. Please note that all reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking and are not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from Malaysia Holidays.
 
Deposits
A 10% deposit of the total booking value is required within 7 days of receiving confirmation.
Accommodation on Selingan Island and Mt Kinabalu Summit require full payment on confirmation and this amount is non-refundable. Final payment is due 30 days prior to travel. Failure to pay by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking. For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required within 72 hours of receiving written confirmation from Malaysia Holidays.
 
Prices do NOT include
Visas, insurance, extra baggage, extra meals, laundry, drinks, souvenirs, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, Penang Heritage Tax and Malacca Heritage Tax.

The Malaysian Ministry of Finance commenced a new Tourism Tax effective from September 1, 2017. The Tourism tax will be charged to the guest directly by the accommodation or premises at RM10 per room per night. This is on top of local Government charges applicable in Malacca, Kedah, Penang and Langkawi charged directly to the guest.

 
Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellation of confirmed bookings must be made in writing. Bookings cancelled at any time after confirmation up to 30 days prior to departure, but prior to any documents being issued, will result in loss of deposit.

Bookings cancelled within 30 days prior to departure will result in loss of deposit plus any cancellation fees imposed by airlines, hotels or ground operators amounting to all or part of the cost paid.

No refund is available for cancellations after final payment for any travel product.
Accommodation on Selingan Island and Mt Kinabalu Summit require full payment on confirmation and this amount is non-refundable.

Amendment Fees
Once itineraries are confirmed one change is allowed at no charge. A fee of $33 is required for any change thereafter. This is in addition to any cancellation fees that airlines, hotels, and ground operators may charge.
 
Late Bookings
Bookings made within 7 days prior to departure are subject to a $15 fee. Bookings cannot be processed until full payment has been received by Malaysia Holidays.
We are unable to accept cheques for late bookings.
 
Change of itinerary
Malaysia Holidays cannot be held responsible for any circumstance which may require a change in itinerary or cost. In such circumstance you will be informed as soon as possible.
Any alteration or cancellation of services after departure may incur penalties.
 
Accommodation
Hotel/resort information in this brochure is based on current hotel/resort information and guides. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room featured in your itinerary. Malaysia Holidays cannot guarantee specific bedding configuration.
Persons travelling alone are required to pay the single room rate. Twin share accommodation is based on share twin or double as allocated by the supplier.
Triple accommodation is normally configured with a double bed or twin beds plus a rollaway for the third person.
Room maximum for second child applies to two children sharing the same room with two adults, only one rollaway will be provided. Some hotel rooms do not adequately cater for this configuration and Malaysia Holidays will provide guidance accordingly. Some charges may be applied by the hotels for children and extra beds.
 
Accommodation ratings
 
Ratings used in this brochure are contributed by the supplier or are our own and are for guidance only.
 
Tours and cruises
Tours and cruises are operated by local tour companies. Details can be provided by contacting Malaysia Holidays.  Tour and cruise operators reserve the right to alter itineraries at any time as a result of fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond their control.
Tours can be run for 1 person, however surcharges will apply.
 
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that at the time of booking you purchase a Travel Insurance policy of your choice.
 
Passports and Visas
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities.

Privacy Policy
Malaysia Holidays has a commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. If you have received a mailing from us then your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (“opt-in”), or you have previously purchased or expressed interest in our products or services.

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your details. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.

(a) Third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from your website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads, (b) users can opt-out of the collection and use of information for ad targeting, and (c) this is where a user can access a mechanism for exercising such choice (e.g., providing a link to www.aboutads.info/choices).

 
Your obligations and warranties
You warrant to us that: (a) you are at least 18 years old and have the power and authority to enter into a binding contract with us and with the Third Party Travel Providers of the Travel Products that you acquire; (b) the information you provide us about yourself is true, accurate, current and complete (apart from any optional items) as required by any registration process; and (c) you will maintain and promptly update this information to keep it true, accurate and complete.
You warrant to us that you have considered acquiring comprehensive travel insurance and we are not responsible for any failure by you to acquire adequate insurance cover.
You warrant to us that you will use Malaysia Holidays services in accordance with these terms and conditions and you will not use Malaysia Holidays services in any way to breach any laws or defame anyone.
You agree to indemnify us from and against all claims, actions, suits, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, losses, whether arising directly or indirectly from the use of Malaysia Holidays  services by you or any person using Malaysia Holidays services through any means provided to you.
“Third Party Travel Provider” means the company or person who provides you with the Travel Product on terms and conditions agreed with you.
“Travel Product” means the service or product provided by a Third Party Travel Provider, for example, an airline or a hotel.
 
Consumer Claims
You should attempt in the first instance to rectify any difficulty you have in respect of a service with the principle responsible for providing that service. Should your attempt fail & you should wish to make a claim, your claim should be made in writing with supporting documentation to your Travel Agent who made the booking as soon as possible following your return to Australia & within 30 days of the difficulty occurring. Malaysia Holidays cannot be held responsible for delays or rejections of claims by principals if your claim is not made promptly.
