Day 2 Mulu National Park
Depart by a long boat up river to Wind Cave via a Penan settlement and explore the limestone formation of this unique eco system. Continue the journey by plankwalk to Clearwater Cave where more interesting stone formation can be seen. Rajah Brooke butterflies can be seen hovering at the river and entrance of the caves. Pick up from your hotel and take a short flight to Brunei Darussalam. In the afternoon, proceed to Kampong Ayer, the "Venice of the East". It is the world’s largest water village with 30,000 people living in houses on stilts snaking along the banks of the Brunei River in the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan. The village includes several schools, a fire brigade, a police station and several shops. Transfer to hotel.

Day 2
Board a local water taxi to Bangar town & transfer to an Iban village for morning tea as well as a nature briefing. Continure upriver by long boat to Ulu Temburong National Park. Explore the network of elevated walkways where you will see a wide variety of insects, flora & fauna. Cross the suspension bridge, climb the canopy walkway to above the tree tops & return to the riverside for lunch. Return by longboat & water taxi to the city. The Royal Regalia Exhibition Hall displays collection of Borneo Ethnography, natural history displays and Islamic art documenting the origins of much of Brunei’s culture.
