Day 1 Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Terengganu (L,D)
At 0830 hours, pick up from Renaissance New World and drive to Kuala Terengganu (approx. 6 hours). Packed lunch provided. Enjoy the scenic view of typical Malaysian villages along the coastal road. Check in Primula Park Royal Hotel. Free at leisure until dinner. Overnight Primula Park Royal Hotel.

Day 2 Kuala Terengganu – Khota Bharu (B,L,D)
0900 hours, depart for Kota Bharu (approx. 2 ½ hours). Stop for a visit at Pulau Duyung Besar for an interesting demonstration of traditional boat making. Continue journey and check in and lunch at Renaissance Kota Bharu Hotel. Afternoon visit to the Cultural Centre and see more of Kelantan’s rich cultural heritage. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight Renaissance Kota Bharu Hotel.

Day 3 Central Market and Museums (B,L,D)
0900 hours, visit the famous Central Market in Kota Bharu, on to a small factory to witness how Songket, richly woven with gold or silver threads is done, and then kite making which requires tremendous skill and a lot of patience. Return to hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the State Museum exhibits of special interest, and a wooden palace built in 1887. Today, it has been converted into a museum where you can see photos, artifacts on Kelantan’s cultural heritage as well as the museum’s intricate wood carvings, testimony to the fine craftsmanship of the Kelantanese. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight Renaissance Kota Bharu Hotel.

Day 4 Kota Bharu – Banding (B,L,D)
0830 hours, depart from Kota Bharu going up to Pulau Banding (approx. 3 ½ hours). The journey drives into the Titiwangsa Range, the back bone of Peninsular Malaysia, amongst scenery of beautiful rainforest. Upon arrival check in and lunch at Banding Island Resort. In the afternoon, go for an orientation walk to discover the interesting formation and history of Temenggor Lake. After dinner, proceed for a night drive in search of wild animal along the main road for one hour. Return to resort and overnight Banding Island Resort.

Day 5 Banding – Penang (B,L)
0800 hours, take a boat ride through Tasik Temenggor to visit the Orang Asli settlement. Continue with a 1 ½ hours trek along Kiroi Nature Trail, where numerous species of wild ginger and other type of plants are found. Proceed on another exciting trail to discover the rich fauna diversity in this area. Return to resort by boat for lunch. In the afternoon drive down to Penang (3 hours) and check in at Hotel of your choice or drop off at airport.
