Tour the longhouse with your guide and observe the leisure-paced lifestyle of the natives. Pickup from your hotel in Kuching and depart for a two hour drive to Gunung Gading National Park and en route visit Bau – a Dayak trading town and the Fairy Cave. At the Park, trek through the primary forest to study the fauna, flora and perhaps find the biggest flower in the world (Rafflesia flower). Depart to Pandan Beach for a swim before return to Kuching. Pickup from your hotel in Kuching and depart for a 45min drive to Bako Fishing Village. Continue by boat for 30 minutes to reach Bako National park. Visit the Parks information centre and trek to the parks western end through mangrove forest to observe the mud skippers and blue-fiddler crabs. Look for Proboscis monkeys and climb to the plateau to see species of pitcher plants. After lunch, explore the eastern part of the park through rainforest trees for bird watching and other wildlife. Journey back to the jetty, boat to Bako Village and car to Kuching. (L)

This cruise give you the opportunities to explore the untouched mangrove forest with it rich flora & fauna. The cruise starts from Buntal Village and depending on the timing and tide, Crocodiles, Proboscis monkeys, Birds, other wildlife may be seen. You may have the opportunity to see the Irrawady Dolphin around the mouth of  Santubong, Salak rivers especially during the dry season from April to November. Pass through picturesque villages on the way to Satang Island, Sarawak’s first marine national park. Visit the turtle conservation and hatchery area and learn about the conservation programme. Snorkel in the sea, explore the jungle around the island or simple relax by the beach. Packed lunch is included.

Pick up from your hotel in Kuching. Drive 40 minutes overland to Kg. Bengoh. Kayak through the rainforests on a meandering river in the Penrissen Highlands district. Shaded by overhanging canopies of trees with the sounds of rustling water and chirpings of insects and birds, you will be transported away on a timeless journey in the magical rainforests. We will make a stop to visit a friendly Bidayuh village along the way.
The river will meander between limestone hills with strange and wonderful shapes shaped over time by the waters. These truly unique speleological formations are a sight to behold. The peaceful flat water is punctuated by Class 1 to Class 2 rapids for a thrilling water ride.
There will be breaks along the 2 to 3 hours river journey to savor the beauty of the forest flora and to have a swim in the cold refreshing mountain stream.
The trip ends at Kg. Semadang where there are facilities to shower and change. Return to the hotel by 4pm (pack lunch included).

Drop by the market place to see the locals selling jungle produce, wild fruits, handicraft and many other things unique to Sarawak.

Lambir Hills National Park

Morning, depart your hotel for 1 hour and 45 mins drive to Lambir Hill National Park where you can take a leisurely walk under the dense canopy of the tropical rainforest. Feel the immense rainforest with numerous species of plants and vegetation.

Certain species of birds, insects and animals may be sighted. Continue your walk and reach a big waterfall of 100ft high and this is where you can admire the nature of the rainforest, swim and relax. Return to your hotel.

Bakam Village

Afternoon, depart your hotel and take a leisurely 30 minutes drive through beautiful and traditional homes along the coastline of Miri to Bakam village where most of its people go out to the sea to earn their livelihood. It is also the home to the Malays of Sarawak, where they are living a simple and stress free lives beside the sea and beautiful beach. A place to really get disconnected from the hustle and bustle of city life. Make a brief visit to one of the oldest cemetery ground in Miri and know some of the cultures of the locals. Stroll along the beautiful beaches, village houses and occasionally see the village people coming back from the sea. This is also one of the best areas to see the sunset (weather permitting). Depart back to hotel.

Niah National Park

A 45 minutes walk on a raised plank-walk (4km long) which snakes through a lush rainforest to reach the Niah Cave entrance. Explore this famous cave system, archaeological sites and primitive hematite paintings on the walls. Observe the bewildering and dangerous manoeuvres of bird-nest collectors climbing flimsy scaffoldings and wooden poles to reach the dark crevasses of the caves to collect the nest during the harvesting season. After lunch, return to Miri.
