2D/1N Lemanak River Safari/Longhouse
Day 1
0900 pick up from your hotel in Kuching for a four hour drive to the Lemanak jetty. There will be three stop-overs en-route at Serian – a Dayak trading town, a Chinese farmhouse to see how pepper and cocoa are grown and Lachau for lunch. On arrival at the river jetty, proceed by motorised longboat up river to the Longhouse and check in at the guesthouse. Tour the longhouse and watch the natives at work making mats, baskets, handicrafts and mending fishing nets. After dinner, return to the longhouse for a social gathering with the Longhouse dwellers. Day 2
After breakfast, witness cockfighting, a blowpipe demonstration and a jungle walk with guide highlighting the various plants which the natives use for food, making traditional medicine and handicraft. Return downriver and by coach to Kuching. (B/L)
Note: dress casually, wear sand shoes or thongs, swim suit, insect repellent, torch and light raincoat.

3D/2N Lemanak River Safari/Longhouse
Day 1
Morning, pick up from your hotel and depart for a four hour drive to the Lemanak jetty. Day 3
Return downriver and by coach to Kuching. (Breakfast included)

What to bring: Raincoat, sun block lotion, drinking water, hat, insect repellent, torch, toiletries, towel and other items of personal use. Use good walking shoes. Comfortable cotton T-shirt with long or short pant recommended.

2D/1N Bako National Park

Day 1
Morning, pick up from your hotel in Kuching and have an hour leisure drive which passes through the mangrove forest with its unique nipah palms and passing Santubong River before arriving at the Bako Fishing Village. Then, continue by a boat trip for 30 minutes cruise along the coast facing South China Sea to reach Bako National Park. Upon arrival of the park, registered names, check into basic accommodations. Visit the Information & Exhibition Centre for an orientation. Stroll along the headquarters compound to see monitor lizards and macaques. Afternoon, proceed for a guided trails to search for proboscis monkeys & other wildlife. Dinner & stay overnight at guesthouse. (Lunch/Dinner included)

Day 2
Early morning, birds watching along Telok Assam Bay before returning to guesthouse for breakfast. Then, proceed to the Plateau, which is the home to various botanical delights and several species of the carnivorous pitcher plants. You may notice how its vegetation changes from mangrove to rainforest, to Kerangas and to padang fores. Depart the National Park and return to Kuching with lunch enroute at local restaurant. Return to your hotel by 1700 hours. (Breakfast/Lunch included)

Batang Ai Longhouse

3D/2N Batang Ai
Day 1
Morning, depart Kuching for 4 hours leisure drive to the Lemanak Jetty. There will be three stop-over along the route, I) Serian – a predominant dayak trading town, II) Chinese farm to see how pepper and cocoa are grown, III) At Lachau for lunch. The journey passes through scenic countryside of rice fields, rubber, cocoa, pepper, and oil palm plantations, which intermingle with luxuriant tropical rainforest, rivers and mountain ranges.

Upon arrival at the river jetty, proceed by motorized longboat going up river against of the many rapids, padding and poling in the clear water of the Lemanak river underneath the cool thick over-hanging jungle foliage for about 45 minutes to reach the Longhouse. A warm welcome by the natives which comprises of “miring” (welcoming rituals) and culture performance. Tour the longhouse, watch the natives at work such as making mats, basket, handicrafts, mending fishing nets, swim in the river or just relaxing by the riverbank.

After the picnic-lunch, jungle-walk to visit the Iban burial ground and depart by longboat to Lemanak Jetty, transfer to Batang Ai Jetty and return by boat to Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse resort for your two night stay. Dinner and overnight at resort (L, D)

Day 2
Morning, depart from Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort for a jungle walk and proceed by motorized longboat for about one hour crossing the Batang Ai Reservoir and then for another  hour on the tributary of the Batang Ai River to reach the native longhouse.  Tour the longhouse and experience rural life in the interior of Sarawak. Watch the native at work and learn about their rich culture and traditions. After lunch, return by longboat to the resort. (B, L, D)

Day 3
After breakfast, depart resort by boat to Batang Ai Jetty, followed by a road transfer back to Kuching City. Lunch is served enroute (B,L)
