Drive to Teluk Bahang, a friendly fishing village located on the northwestern tip of Penang Island. Every morning, local villagers will visit the market here seeking fresh ingredients such as fresh cuts of meats, fish, vegetables and dry goods. Around the corner are stalls selling fresh fruits to complete the daily needs of many households living within the area.

Later, visit the Tropical Spice Garden to explore the spice terraces where you can see many well –known spices growing. It is possible to learn how to cook several authentic Malaysian dishes in the garden’s natural setting. The cooking school is located on sloping land within the Tropical Spice Garden. It is a hands –on experience where participants prepare their own meal from scratch using traditional pestles and mortars. Fresh spices and herbs are harvested from the spice and herb garden.  Also, learn about the fabulous diversity of spices and herbs from the expert local chefs, who make cooking a fun and unforgettable experience. Enjoy your lunch before returning to the hotel.
